Ernesto Rodriguez III
Ernesto Rodriguez III is the Senior Curator, Historian, and Lecturer at the Alamo. He is a San Antonio native who has devoted more than 25 years of historical research to the Alamo, which is a United States National Historic Landmark and part of the Lone Star State’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ernesto is dedicated to scholarly research that underpins interpretative planning for the future Alamo Visitor Center and Museum, as well as a greater understanding of the Alamo’s archive and artifact collections. Ernesto holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. He is proud to share his deep knowledge and love for Texas history with the Alamo’s millions of visitors from across the world.
